Stewardship Award The San Francisco Bay Chapter honors
State Senator Carole Migden with the Environmental Stewardship Award for her outstanding accomplishments in
protecting the environment of the Bay Area and of the State of California.

Stop New Fossil Fuel Plants in San Francisco San Francisco wants to
build two new fossil fuel power plants. With the crisis of catastrophic climate change, the last thing we
should be doing is burning more polluting fossil fuels.
Please visit our Stop New Fossil Fuel Plants page and send an email to the
Mayor and Supervisors. It's easy! Everything is done for you! Without a public outcry, the City will build
these power plants that will use fossil fuels for years to come.
Bus Rapid Transit in Berkeley Berkeley needs a good local transportation plan to meet future demands.
Bus Rapid Transit has great potential to reduce global warming pollution, reduce car use, and ease
congestion on our streets. Please
send a message to Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates to support Bus Rapid Transit!
Stop Trash Pollution in the Bay! The SF Bay Regional Water Control Board does not require real limits on trash
discharge. Let the Board know that the trash in our creeks and Bay are unacceptable.
