Please join the Marin Group for a stimulating evening of speakers and awards, with excellent organic food and wine at our Annual Awards Dinner. Our event will be held at the historic and beautiful Cavallo Point Lodge, an environmentally sustainable resort hotel at Fort Baker in the Golden Gate National Park. The Michelin star rated Murray Circle restaurant will be catering our event!

Hunter Lovins
Our special guest speaker will be L. Hunter Lovins, president and founder of the Natural Capitalism Solutions. Hunter’s expertise includes sustainable development, globalization, energy and resource policy, economic development, climate change, land management, and fire rescue and emergency medicine. Hunter cofounded the California Conservation Project (Tree People) and the Rocky Mountain Institute, which she led for 20 years. She is currently a founding professor of business at the Presidio School of Management, one of the first accredited programs offering an MBA in sustainable management.

Resource Conservation Award
The Marin Group is pleased to honor Susan Stompe, for her tireless environmental advocacy, public service and personal dedication to protecting Open Space in Marin County.

The Hannah Creighton* Environmental Justice Award
is being presented to the Next Generation non-profit of San Rafael, for their great enthusiasm and activism in educating youths and schools of Marin County promoting environmental and social responsibility.

* Hannah Creighton, the former Marin Group Executive Committee member for whom the award is named, passed away in 1998. She was an editor of the periodical Race, Poverty and the Environment for the Urban Habitat Program. She was always concerned about environmental education and opportunities for those in need.

Advance reservations are required as this event WILL sell out – only 120 tickets available! 

Regular tickets are $85
per person – elegant, full course meal and a glass of wine with dinner.

The event will include an incredible silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind packages, including:

A weekend stay in a private farmhouse
on the Napa estate,
a tour of the vineyards, and a private tasting

their organic/biodynamic red wine for our dinner, as well!)

Nick’s Cove

An overnight for two in a quaint cabin, on the beautiful Tomales Bay,
and dinner at Nick’s Cove restaurant.
