  Joanna Macy, one of the world’s leading eco-philosophers and a scholar of Buddhism and deep ecology, is renowned for her writings and activism in the peace, justice, and ecology movements. See www.joannamacy.net

 

Belvie Rooks, co-founder of Growing A Global Heart is a writer, educator and producer whose work weaves the worlds of spirituality, feminism and social justice with a passion for engaged dialogue as a way to bridge various socially constructed divides. She is the host ConverZations That Matter: Exploring the Boundaries of Race, Class and Gender in the 21st Century.

 

  Osprey Orielle Lake, a lifelong advocate for environmental and societal transformation, is Director of the Women's Earth and Climate Caucus, serves on the board of Praxis Peace Institute, and is one of the world's few female monument-makers, incorporating allegorical imagery and new cultural narratives (one of her monuments stands in Jack London Square).
