photographer, photojournalist, and world traveler Maureen McGettingan of her three-week cruise to Antarctica and the surrounding islands.
Maureen is a part-time photojournalist for two neighborhood newspapers in San Francisco. She has been studying photography seriously for eight years. An
avid traveler, she loves photographing the world and its people. Now that she has visited Antarctica, she has been on all six continents. "I saved the best for last," she
says. "Antarctica is one of the most beautiful, fascinating places on earth, where penguins dominate but the weather and ice rule."
