Community organizer

Help coordinate volunteer campaigns to elect local environmental leaders and pass local environmental legislation.

Knowledge and skills:

• one year of professional experience managing volunteer grassroots efforts;
• strong interest in environmental and grassroots politics;
• commitment to the democratic and electoral process;
• strong written and oral communication skills.

Any fundraising experience is a plus, including grassroots fundraising.

Annual salary is $30,000 to $34,000 with full benefits including competitive medical and dental. Position is funded for six months with possibility of developing into a permanent position.
